Terminal Illness affects the patient and his/her family deeply. Providing quality care and support for these patients is a social duty that is often ignored and forgotten. Josaab foundation has long understood the importance of its duty to support as many terminally-ill patients as possible.
Throughout the last five years, Josaab provided mobile hospice services to hundreds of patients. Josaab’s team has visited the patients’ homes to provide all the support needed. They have witnessed the urgent needs of patients and realized that many patients are living alone, with no one to care for them. Sometimes they may not even have a home. Others have families that are drained by the demanding continuous care. They are in need of relief periods to recharge and be able to continue to support their loved ones. While mobile hospice is convenient for patients who want to spend their last days at home, other patients needed care around the clock. That is why Josaab extended the hospice service to include the stationary hospice, a place they can call home in their final days.
